Clinical Pathologist - Veterinary

Gribbles Veterinary Pathology is New Zealand's leading veterinary pathology provider, with a team of 16 Veterinary Pathologists located in five dedicated veterinary laboratories across New Zealand, providing diagnostic pathology services for livestock, companion animal veterinarians, university and research facilities, as well as zoo and wildlife organisations. Due to our customer-centric focus, Gribbles continues to achieve growth across our New Zealand business.

We are seeking an enthusiastic & dynamic Veterinary Clinical Pathologist with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills for a permanent, full or part-time position.

About the role:

Primary duties include the evaluation and interpretation of clinical pathology results and cytology samples. Provision of phone consultation to veterinary clients is also expected. Our supportive professional environment provides opportunities for further career development through continuing professional education and active participation in continuing education seminars for clients.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A veterinary degree suitable for New Zealand registration
  • Previous experience in diagnostic veterinary pathology
  • A demonstrated commitment to providing a high-quality pathology service
  • Board certification by the ACVP/ECVCP or Fellowship of the ANZCVS is preferred, although board-eligible or other highly qualified applicants will also be considered.

We will consider applications for any of our laboratory sites within New Zealand; Gribbles Veterinary has laboratories located in Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Christchurch & Dunedin.
